Paris Ethical fashion week is dedicated to promote sustainable fashion design. It showcases and promotes designers who understand and follow the social and environmental impact of garments, from the cultivation of its fibers to its use and disposal. Their mission is to follow the evolution of the apparel industry toward a more environmentally sound future, as well as facilitate a conversation about why sustainable fashion matters.
It was a proud moment to take our products – stoles made from old torn saris into fantastically recreated up cycled knitted stoles. Not only were we using traditional skill but also a traditional garment. The excitement of sharing the camel wool stoles where our mission was to save the camel and also take the beautifully hand woven stoles to showcase at an international platform.
Two consecutive years 2010, 2011 we were able to share , and interact with a world of ethical fashion. Designers from across the world spoke the same language of ethics and sustainability.
